If it absorbs any at all, it does not belong inside a gas tank.

Ok, done deal. That will give me peace of mind so I'll grab one of those.

Went to Pepboys = No Bueno
Went to Vatozone = No Bueno
Went to Napa = they didn't have it but said they would order it and I had to buy a full roll (25 feet @ $26.50/foot)

So anyways, BIG THANKS to Matt (Dezert1500) for hooking me up with a supplier of his through his work which allowed me to pick up the hose at Will Call for a fraction the cost of what Napa wanted and I was able to get them in 1-foot sections!

Thanks alot Matt!

btw... Matt answers his work phone by saying "Dikes on Trikes sales and service!"

Napa should have it in 1 foot sections. I didnt think that the submersible stuff came in longer lenghts than 1 foot.

Well they didn't have any, and when asked the guy about ordering it he seemed annoyed with me and responded that I had to order a roll, when I asked how long a roll was, without checking his catalog or computer he said it was 25' give or take and it would take till the end of the week at he earliest.
It's easy to tell when a customer is annoying the workers who are enjoying BS'ing in the back. I didn't push the issue and left.

I wish it could be done in time for SAR. If it was done and ready to drive x-country I definitely drive it out there! Kyle told me HRP was the 15th of April. I don't know if I'll be around at that point seeing as I'll probably be shipped out by then (hopefully...need the $$) but weirder things have happened.

****...I threw away my gas filler tube and cap...

Hacked up the bed some today, I have it to where it should fit the gas tank filler...hopefully.
I also removed all the heat shields from under the bed. Note of caution, those bolts DO NOT want to come out!!

Hopefully by either tonight or tomorrow morning I'll have this bed back on without any clearance issues.

I'm having a hard time trying to find my Cam Sensor clip on my harness. I thought that maybe GM made different style cam sensors between 99-02 to the 03-07 style but apparently that was just for the oil sender.
