8 bolts!!

Also, I wanna and he knows I'm down to go, but Lee's gotta check his pocket-book, he's spent a fortune on parts for his truck this month and didn't plan for plane tickets. But if he can get his together I plan on going.

Well get your poop in a group, there is a BBQ/Dyno Day at Nelsons the day before and after the track on Saturday a bunch of us are getting a hotel room in SA to have some fun afterwards

PS wtf-ever 8 bolts, just put a roll pan made out of 1/2" plate on it. It will keep from getting dented in when someone rear ends you again and it will aid in traction

I'd put a hinged floor in the bed for access to both the battery and the tank. No I wouldn't, I would only wish that I did after replacing the fuel pump a week after replacing the battery.

I say weld up a good solid brace on the frame and weld in a roll pan. That way, whenever you want to change the battery, you have to pull the cotton-pickin bed off!

LOL, looks awesome. I would leave it as is. Neither the bumper or bed is a major issue to remove when you need too.

Really, it would be really easy to hinge the whole bed if you wanted to. And it would be a neat custom touch to be able to flip the whole bed up and show off the work! Heck, you could even fill the tank directly and have no exposed tank filler with the bed down.

Yeah, I'm really interested in going, I'll see if I can't get Lee to get up off his *** and buy a plane ticket.

If it does become a problem That's actually a pretty neat idea!!

Thanks but no thanks. If I did that I would have to get the mandatory lambo doors as well, probably get a hood that opens like a vette as well. I think I'll stick to what I got!!

I'd give strong consideration to putting an access hatch in the bed. Do you leave the battery in the weather or box it in?
