not really sure as there are not a whole lot of these running around, however, there was a local that was running a 2.8/7.5 combo shifting at 6600rpm and he felt the 122 had more left in it, IOW, it wasn't laying over. Jerry Magnuson likes higher BRPM's with the newer designs (especially TVS). With my 8" crank pulley and 2.8 blower pulley shifting at 6500 rpm I am looking at 18500 BRPM. I just have to take it one step at a time so I don't really have any predictions, just hoping for the best..

Does Eaton have a recomended max speed for the 122? I would guess that the issue wouldn't much be laying over as far as cfm production, just a concern of heat production like the 122. Of course though like you said, there aren't many out there yet and we'll soon find out.

I was thinking right at 600/600, even through the heavy drivetrain. Best of luck to you

I was throwing around the idea of running a crank driven system; haven't decided one way or the other......Richard has a line a good setup I believe.

spent the morning running around.....picked up flexplate from the balance shop, dropped off the drive shafts for a balance check, & picked up some Evans coolant from a neat little 1900-1920 Restoration shop.

Last few items for the build:

mocked this up to check clearances, PLENTY of room, in fact with the smaller Evans water pump pulley I can see running an 8.5" crank damper with no problems

8 rib belt will fit nicely on this w/p pulley:

BTW, awesome write up. It has helped me help a friend in building an LS1. Great job and I hope that it puts down the numbers you are hoping for.
