Been thinking about trying to do it myself...

The pics are great on your project... keep em coming

I would have loved to have the crank holding tool on more than one occasion.

this is excellent stuff for providing a smooth action under high pressure

keyway installed:

balancer on:

installed keyway shot:

I wasn't sure about how to install the new damper so I just followed Innovatives instructions which was to apply red loctite liberally around the crank snout/damper ID to prevent the two metals from direct contact, I did use anti-sieze on the keyway as well

maybe a dumb question but is the whole point of the 8 rib pulley setup to try to eliminate belt slip on your supercharged application?

not really to eliminate it because I never really had any with the MP112; more like preventative measures with the 122HH setup, if it ends up being overkill................I can live with that

Did you consider the ATI damper at 7.5" with the MP122HH or did you go with the 8"Innovators damper, planning to go with the MP112?

the original plan was having the 8" damper for the 112
yes I considered the ATI but it was a few dollars more than the Innovative. I don't know if ATI has a truck balancer available yet (probably so at this point)
I sent a stock GM damper in to Innovative for my current 8"/8rib setup, so I know for sure they have what they need to make a truck balancer in any configuration you'd like.
