There is a nearly brand new whipple 2.3 for sale on here right now for what seems like a good price seeing as how its got about 500 miles on it. Maybe you should pick that up.. i know cost is less of a concern... but its a pretty sweet deal and who doesn't get excited over saving a couple grand.

Ok, so I spoke to Chris from Circle D and he explained how to determine stall - the RPMs at 3 - 4 mph from a dig. This made me go back and look at all my previous files and it was stalling between 2500 - 2600 consistently (3 separate log files on 3 different dates) until March 9 it started stalling at 3152 @ 4mph. My most recent file on March 16 showed an RMP of 3292 @ 4mph! Zippy tells me it will be quite a bit higher (possibly around 3800) once I start adding 10 - 15 psi of boost.

I'm very concerned about what has caused the stall increase. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Here is a log file I did a couple of weeks ago that has one really good brake stall test. Starting at frame 4844 and ending on 4858 of this log file, the truck was power braked with absolutely no wheel spin - hard on the brakes and WOT, the truck simply would not move. The RPMs ranged from 3216 to 3327 during those frames. Based on these readings, my log file on March 16 that I most recently posted where a flash stall of 3292 @ 4mph from a dig (frame 5024) was recorded, and what my Tuner is telling me (around 3300), I'm going to take a wild guess that it's currently stalling right at 3300 with a totally stock motor. This makes me very unhappy considering Chris from Circle D knew well in advance of my future mods of a blower, cam, etc. I'm guessing my stall with be somewhere around 4k after all the power adders.

Went to Heartland Park Topeka yesterday to get a baseline on my truck before the blower and other engine mods start going on. Here are my results...

14.2 with boltons, stall, tune only....Nice! What was the 60ft seemed like you got out of the hole pretty smooth.

Good MPH for the mods. I would expect a better 60' time, but that longer 1st gear on the 80e doesnt make it very easy on you. Did you data log those runs? I'd be curious to see the logs if so.

Thanks. I bet I would have been at least a half second faster with my old 60out of the hole - the 60' time didn't surprise me at all as I knew that would be the worst part of the run without the blower installed. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my 1/4 mile time for the few mods I have right now.

Yes I did data log the first two runs which I'll post up later if you'd like to see them.
