Yea man you are way beyond they engines tq curve...

https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...9-dyno-420781/

take a look at that... its making less tq at 5500 than it is at 3000 by a fair margin. If you could see that dyno continue on to 6400 you would laugh...

Do yourself a favor and adjust those yourself. Drop it down to 5900 1-2 and 5800 2-3.

10 to 1 it feels stronger. You can literally hear it not accelerating any more at the top of second in that video.

Looking at your scans, your dyn cyl air starts droping fast after 5500 and your IDC levels off even though RPM keeps climbing so that tells me its falling off power wise. The only benefit would be to help with shift recovery but the problem with that is with a stock cam your peak tq is pretty low so you are already past peak after the shift. Its not going to hurt it unless you start floating valves, however it is just putting undo stress on the motor for no gain. Your stock injectors are maxed also, they are at 97% at 5600rpm and only 96% at 6300rpm.
Since you know how to read that scan, can you tell where my converter is stalling at? Was just curious if Chris nailed my 3k stall. Thanks.

can't really say bc from what I'm seeing this scan starts halfway through 1st gear.

You have any logs that start at 0 MPH?

Hold the phone... he has you lockign the TCC in second gear and shifting into 3rd locked. WTF is he doing??? No wonder your shift into 3rd is so damn hard.

That's weird, in the video you'll hear me say, "****" - it's then when I reached over and clicked the "start scan" button and a few seconds later, I launch from 0. So unless there is some sort of lag time between when I clicked the start scanning button, it should have recorded it from 0

Yeah, that scan was when it wasn't running right.

Did you get a billet input shaft with your trans? Not so much a issue now but once you put the TVS on there don't lock the converter at WO unless you did.

I got the FLT level 4 trans, so whatever that comes with is what I have in it now.

Here's a link

When you hit scan it takes it a couple seconds to load parameters. It doesnt start instantly. Dont lock your converter at WO then, they are known to snap the input shaft under those situations. Just a FYI. I am not sure if it really helps at the track or not, I am going to try next time I am at the track and see what effect it has.

oh well, chalk that scan up to a newbie first scan mistake then. Like I said, I'll get it scanned again with the new tune ASAP and get it right next time!
