After cleaning up the top end I saw this little gem. I guess the guy also did some drilling into the throttle body. This makes me think that he never tuned the truck after the cam was install.

Default Everything is either a blessing or a lesson

If you play in the car mod game long enough - you’ll get screwed one day. It happens to ALL of us at some
point. But damn, after all the **** you’ve been through with that truck - you should be done with bad car karma for life.

Put lifters into the trays making sure the roller of the lifters are facing the correct way so they spin on the cam. Then place the tray in while it's holding all four lifters

Make sure the words "Front" are facing towards the front of the engine or timing cover

Oil Pan on. Make sure you follow torquing specs in order for no leaks. I put black RTV on all 4 corners of the block before the oil pan gasket and the pan.

Picture of my fitting I had welded on. Will this be ok and above the oil level? I've seen others put there's here.

74mm Precision Turbo with T4 Flange

Huron Speed Log. Is that smaller pipe sticking out from the front bottom where the waste gate goes? I'm really smart.

When you have had such bad luck you have trust issues.

FYI, you need to support it toward the front of the pan from underneath.

Yeah my jack isn't tall enough to do that I tried. I can move the chain of the cherry picker to the most frontal point though. Right now the cherry picker and stand are taking most of the weight.

I have often wondered why they didnt put more angle in those stands to account for the sag and some of the slop with the tube fitment.
