Just remember that too cold of oil won't burn off any condensation built up in it. Getting the oil above 200-210 to burn it off isn't bad.
Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking about that but I am sure at the turbo it is hotter than 200 degrees and I take a daily commute to work that is about 30 miles and just over an hour of driving.
Lady in a 2000 ish Blazer (probably texting) hit a Dodge RCSB behind me and he hit me. As he was trying to avoid me he hit a semi. Semi was trying to avoid him and hit a Ford Edge. I barely touched a Jeep Patriot in front of me barely left a scratch on him. Don't know how I had that much front end damage everything happened so fast. Traffic was at a stand still morning rush hour. End of it all lady at fault only had $10,000 for property damage that will be split percentage wise among all of us. I will probably get hardly anything. My insurance only covers OEM and $1,000 of aftermarket parts. I have to use my uninsured motorist that is up to $50,000
Right here you can see the bed of the truck hit the cab making fixing everything more complicated.
I'm waiting to hear back that the truck is probably totaled and hopefully the frame is good and a body shop can fix the cab so I can buy the truck back from my insurance hopefully really cheap.
Forgot to add I drove the truck to work right after the accident. On my lunch that same day a guy driving his girl friend's Chevy Cruz backed into my front bumper putting a softball sized dent into the already smashed front bumper. I drove my truck home after work and everything was fine and it drove straight.
That is a lot of damage and most likely it's going to be totaled out... plans so far?
Sometimes it takes a soft tissue injury in order NOT to get completely fucked over by the other drivers lousy insurance... are you 100% sure your neck and back are ok? I was rear ended by an electrical van 30 years ago. Being the "tough guy" I convinced myself the stiff neck would get better. It did but only somewhat and today as I'm typing this I can still feel the injury and have limited motion (and pops) when I turn my head.

Plans are to fix it back up even better. I had a sore back and neck the day after. It went away 99% though. I am for sure the tough it out kind of guy and really don't want to go after someone and sue. But I really want my truck back that I put so many sacrifices into. My insurance will likely total it hopefully I can get around $7,000 for it. That is what normal RCSB go for around me. And buy it back cheap. If the frame is good and the cab can be fixed I can do the rest.
