Nice heads!

The engine and head combo should move a ton of air. I can't wait to see how the combo performs with the 2.3

Only thing is it could do well with a cam with a lot more exhaust duration. I am not changing the cam from what I had with the turbo, which is a 230/233 114.

Nice to see it turning back into a street truck (I have strict definitions of what I consider a street truck).

I do remember you saying way back when that your old blower combo was more fun on the street.

Oh it surely was, a heck of a lot less maintenance too. Not as much power, but the fun factor is higher.

I think blowers are more fun on a day to day driver myself too. I really like the KB 2.8 blower I had. (don't tell anyone!) lol

It depends what you are after honestly. A turbo will always be king at the drag strip or racing in general. They are just too easy to make stupid power with. A roots/screw blower on the other hand, is very good at what it is, which is a very low mainteance, very driveable, very reliable power adder to make the vehicle more fun and enjoyable.

Which at this point, going on 4 years after buying my turbo kit, is what I'm looking for with this truck now. Its not going to be raced, might see the track 2-4 times a year. I do more hauling and DDing with it now then anything really. As much as it kills me to have bought the kit, Im really considering a tvs1900.

Sorry to hijack!

1900 FTW. They're runners. I can attest.
