Oh thats just a hole in the fender from the single turbo days, now it has a tank sitting right there. The real exhaust goes under the truck back to a stock muffler then over the axle, but there are 3 cutouts along the way. 2 electric 3.5" ones right where the downpipes go under the cab, and another 4" one right before the muffler.
Never figured out what the cutting off issue was, but it hasnt done it the last few times so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Went to the track again last weekend and did pretty well. It was hot as *****, probably still 80 degrees at midnight near 100% humidity. I think I am about maxed out with this setup since I am bumping up against the 30psi PCM limit with a 10lb pulley and the turbos around 10psi. The setup just gets crazy hot and doesnt really have a chance to cool off. I did 5 runs and the restart IATs on the later ones were 170+. I decreased the controller sensitivity some and that seemed to help with the boost moving around so much.
Turbos still come online super faster which I am very happy with. Here is a log of my best run that I wasnt bouncing off the overboost protection limit:
and here is the video of that same run, still havent messed with the suspension at all.
Next step I think I am going to try one of the larger pulleys I have to slow the blower to 6psi or so and see how that does with more from the turbos to get to the same total boost. May be a few weeks though, I am in the process of moving and setting up the new house and workshop!
