I'm not going to a blower setup. If anything FI wise I'd go to a baby turbo (think S366) on gasoline. Something built for under the curve power, response, and relative economy (compared to 7 mpg now)

If anything I'm going back N/A. I want to get a new Camaro SS....

You think you would be happy with going back to your last setup with the t4 s475? I'm about to pull the trigger on a very similar setup in hopes that I wont hate my truck after installing it haha

Sorry to threadjack, pm if you'd like, Im just curious lol

It's all a tradeoff.

My current setup is a monster on the top end. The t4 was more responsive down low and part throttle but didn't have nearly the top end...just felt like I was going for a sunday drive down the big end of the track (while still running 10.80s).

To put any power to the street I have to roll around on my Bogarts and ET street radials, which I also don't drive in the rain.

More than anything I just want to try something different. The amenities in the new cars these days is amazing and rowing my own gears will be more fun in itself than the slushbox.

I think its a sacrifice we all make... almost any truly streetable truck is going to be boring on the back half of the track.

So I really want to redo my whole exhaust when I win the lottery. Ive mentioned the 2" ARH headers with 3.5" primaries and 3.5" cutouts right off the collectors. After that I want to neck down to dual 3" so I can actually make it all the way back. I got a pipe bender to hopefully make it easier.

As far as mufflers, I dont like my current 34"x4" straight through flo-pro deal. I was thinking about doing 2 4x9"x14" magnaflows (11229) side be side between the trans crossmember and the other crossmember in the way, and them go back to a single bigger muffler that is dual 3" in and single 4" out like the 5x11x22 (12594) or do an xpipe and another set of 3" mufflers like 7"x34" round (13740).

I just really hate loud raspy exhausts

Curious what don't you like about the 4" Flo-Pro?

Sounds like a project. It'll be a feat to jam all that under there too.

I'm sure it's a whole new world of noise without that snail under the hood

It may not be the flo-pro, but my truck is really annoying when accelerating between 1800-2300 which just happens to be where I spend most of my cruising time. I think it may be the dual 3" to single 4" flowmaster merge I have, but I needed one to mate to the muffler.

I have more room than normal since I dont have the torsion bar crossmember in the way.
