Well I was going to sell it. But I was going to keep working on it. But all of that's useless now. On my way back from town to get e85, which they were out of, did a short 3rd gear pull. 55-105. Let out and started logging a lot of knock. It died on me as I was pulling onto base. Got it started and something is deff broke. Limped it back to my house and the motor siezed about 3 houses down from mine. Afr was 10.5-10.6. Still showing 19* timing so that may have done it, iat was 70-72* So I'm most likely going to part out the truck. And get a dd for the family

Hopefully is just a push rod, spring or lifter and the motor is fine. If so I will replace the broken parts and trade in the truck

Were you running dual or single springs? When my spring let go it ran pig rich but never seized. The valve never broke off.

If you snapped a spring and the valve head snapped off in the cylinder that piston will be toast.

It has dual springs. Patriot gold dual springs. And it was running richer than normal. Around 13.5 at 70 and vac went to 5"

I figured the transmission would give before the engine did.

Yea. I figured that too. I was making about 500 when it went. And it was 5-10 sec after the wot run. Got .8* knock then 5 more seconds then it was showing knock like crazy. I'm really starting to think broken valve spring. Just need to get time to crack it open to find out

Yeah, if it seized I'm thinking there's a hole in a piston.
