I havent fully decided yet actually. Most decent shops wont touch it for less than $500 for a basic port and polish, and I dont think I can justify spending that on minimal gains since im using a blower.

Ive been working on a spreadsheet so I can keep everything organized, anyone want to take a look and see if there is anything I forgot? Download the attachment and change the extension to .xlsx

Also, what are yalls thoughts on single vs double timing chain?

For simplicity sake, I like the IWIS heavy duty timing chains. By all means there is nothing wrong with a good double roller chain, but attention will need to be paid to clearances. Besides ease of fitment with the good single roller, it also makes using a factory chain damper a breeze as well; of course I noticed in the great picture of the front of your new motor it is not factory drilled for the damper though. I don’t know if they still do it or not, much less the aftermarket, but GM used to include a template for drilling and tapping the block when you purchased the damper from them.

Yea im pretty certain a single roller would be fine for me, but then I go back to if I ever want to upgrade its 10x easier now when its on a stand than when the engine is installed.

I would do it, your going the right direction. High compression, with that boost, should be nice. Leave it high compression IMO. Or you can always sell my the TVS, if I find a 2300 its going on my 6.0.
