Yea he has been a lot of help diagnosing the problem in another thread I made specific to that issue. For now I am going to take the trans with me back to school and fix it myself I guess when I have time. I just finished putting a lot of TM back into the tune to try and make the stocker with vette servo live for at least a little while.

Its in. No abnormal sounds or issues. No fluid leaks. Now just a lot of tuning to do.

Hows it feel? What cam did you end up going with? What pulley are you using and how much boost does it make?

So far it feels good, but like I said I need a lot of tuning, for instance I go from 26 degrees down to 5 in an adjacent single cell because I took out a lot first to make sure I didnt blow up anything.... but so far the most ive given it is 50% throttle and it just keeps pulling and pulling. So far at that throttle the most ive seen is 3 pounds of boost, but it should go up to around 5 or 6 at full throttle.

I couldnt find my 3.3" pulley to put on so I have my 3" on there. Cam is one I had spec'd by PatG, around a 219/230 on a 117.

Interesting note...the exhaust is quieter with this engine than my 5.3

Well that should give you plenty of time to dial in the tune. Mind telling me what you have in the motor(pm if you wish)? I am wanting to build a 408 this winter with tax money. Thinking it will be around 4-5 grand so I need to start planning now. Curious on the cost you ran into and any problems you had to over come.
