Been a good long while since I updated this thread. Been real busy with the GMC, My02 silverado project, the single cab, a 67 Camaro RS project as well as the on going C10 project. I have been making a lot of progress though on all of them. Bought a new house as well so no I have i bigger better place to work out of. Anyways... getting the black GMC ready for TX2K in a couple of weeks. Almost have it ready to fire up. I guess ill just start were I left off on here...

Got the truck in its new home, cleaned it up and got it ready for the upgraded motor from LME to come in...

Did something a little different with the factory oil cooler block, went ahead and flared the ends and installed some -8 sleeves and nuts to connect to my aftermarket oil cooler. The factory lines are ½ inch so was pretty easy.

Really liked the look of these intakes in that wrinkle black so sand blasted it to get it ready for coating.

Started working on the crossover and waste gate piping on the turbo manifold... spent several hours on these to make sure the fitment was perfect with no gaps. I need to mention I never tag welded before in my life so picked up a machine and just started self teaching myself. I watched a HUGE amount of youtube videos before getting my own machine and just diving in...

Modifying the wiring harness yet again to suit the new turbo setup. Used the coils I previously had on my last setup but they are slightly wider then LS coils so had to make small brackets to clock them a little better. Worked out because of how the boots fit...

I have no lift here at the house mainly because my garage door is so low. The ceilings are pretty tall but the garage door screws me. Did get some 12" tall RaceRamps though that gave be plenty of room underneath the truck to work.
