Yeah plenty of room, my 106 was ran from the back with a 5 inch down pipe. My new turbo headers are going to be very close to how I had the 106 turbo header setup. Orientation all the same but this time with more clearance around the spark plugs. When I made the headers for the 106 cylinder two was a little tight, since the GTX55 is some what physically smaller I can space things out a little better. Also since I swapped to a 4l80e, a lot more room for the crossover and downpipe. I'll take plenty of pictures when I'm farther along and working on the crossover and downpipe.

No frame is the same width, I think the body just sits up a little higher off the frame and the front half doesn't neck in as tight to the motor as the gmt800s do if that makes sense. You can put a gmt800 bed and bumper and and all that on a gmt900 frame. Only main difference between the frames is the front suspension that I have noticed. Also the gmt900 trucks bodies are wider so the flooring isn't as tight around the engine as the gmt800s.

Started to get my down pipe material in. Ordered up a Ticon Tial GT55 5 inch titanium turbine flange and a few of the Ticon 5" tight radius titanium pie cut kits. I want the down pipe to be as tight as possible so hopefully I won't have to move the AC drier. Going to be 5" all the way down right past the motor then reduce down to 4" and head back to the Burns Stainless exhaust parts. Right before it necks down going to have a 5" Race Ready cutout so it's nice and wide open when I race the truck. Trying to make the truck on normal cruising conditions as quiet as possible.
