Yep saw that they ran good, Derly did good once he adjusted the rear suspension a bit. That first pass was pretty sketchy.

Thats good to hear Derly got his running good. I heard he was able to get a bunch of weight out of it.

Forgot to post about this earlier but going back to the alternator issue I had this past track event, ended up not being an alternator issue. Ended up being a bent belt tensioner and instead of throwing the belt off it pushed it into the face of the alternator and ate the belt. Long story short on how the tensioner got bent, it is held on with 3 bolts well I tried to reuse the stock upper two bolts but they were too short only held on by a couple threads. Meant to change them out with longer ones but just flat out forgot to. The night before the race I was out with my tuner doing some pulls on 20lbs and well the increased load stripped out the top two bolts and only the bottom bolt held on. Went back and put longer bolts on and continued tuning with no issue on the last pull we made. Anyways never bothered to look at the tensioner. Found the tensioner bent because it was rough to adjust, wouldn't work freely like before so I pulled it off and found out it was bent pretty good.

Got the new one on with the correct size bolts, cleaned the alternator face off and all is good lol.

Got the front coil overs in just lacking a few small parts before I can put them on. Brackets are still out at the powder coat shop should have those here pretty soon. Also going to be putting in some front limit straps as well so ill have pictures of that too.

Heres what I went with for my coil over conversion, mind you I'm stock ride hight and don't plan on lowering my truck:

QA1 (DS501) Coil over shock
Eibach 12" 800 lb coil springs (1200.250.0800S)
QA1 5" T-bar lower mount (BAR505K)
QA1 steel bearing kit to get rid of the shitty nylon bearings these shocks come with (COM8T-106PK)

Ill update this post with any changes I make. For now looks like everything needed to do a complete swap, only thing I'm concerned about right now is the clearance from the coil over to the CV shaft on 4wd trucks. Might be an issue so Richard and I are talking about a new lower bracket to replace the t bar mounts and take care of that issue. Stay tuned for that info.
