Yea the frame looks awesome! I desperately need to do that to my truck.

Is that bracket car or truck belt location?

I used the 3M professional rubberized undercoating you can find at just about any auto parts store. Had great reviews so tried it out on my frame. Sprays great and lays down very consistent. Great product for sure.

Thanks 3m makes some good stuff I'm very happy with how it's turned out so far. Hopefully tonight I'll have the suspension off and the rest of that nasty wax stuff stripped off to do the rest of the front of the frame.

The bracket is spaced out to match the truck alignment. Only thing that doesn't make this bracket a direct swap with the truck bracket is that you have to go with a GM type II power steering pump. I'm swapping out to a higher psi pump from Turn One for the hydroboost so wasn't a big deal for me.

Oh its a undercoat, I thought it was a paint. Who makes the Wrinkle paint you used on the Intake?

Yeah it's an undercoat not a paint. More durable and flexible to me. It was either that or that Rustoleum Professional black enamel. After spraying both on some test pieces I liked the 3m stuff better. Sprayed thicker and wasn't super glossy like the Rustoleum stuff. Both work great just personal opinion. The intake was painted with VHT Wrinkle Black. Says to bake it but I didn't have a spare oven big enough for the intake so I just sat the intake outside and let this nice South Texas sun bake it lol.

Im not sure what the difference is between undercoat and bed liner is. Most rattle can bed liner products I have seen dry pretty dull. The undercoat I used has a nice semi gloss look to it. Not too shiny but not dry looking either. Its all up to personally preference I think and how thick of a coating you want to go with. I went with this 3m stuff since its just a hair thicker then the factory wax coating and more durable. Never sprayed bed liner before but I imagine that stuff has to be played on pretty thick or it will flake off. Not to sure. Do some tests and see what works.

Well I got some discussions to make. I got a brand new ready to go Holley Dominator system for my truck but don't know if I want to stick with it or go to a Pro EFI 128 setup. The Holley seems easy to learn but missing alot of features and capabilities the Pro EFI comes with. The Holley also isn't so much user friendly to the factory features, needing seperate gauges and stuff. Anyways I'll be thinking about that for the next couple of days till me next days off...
