Default what heads on my 370

im looking in to a set of head for my 370. the ones are TSP 5.3 stage 2.5. i have never had just a cam and heads setup. what kind of RWHP do you guys think it will make. i might put a shot of nitrous later on down the road. the cam is a 228-232 114lsa.

im looking to make a little over 400rwhp on heads cam and longtubes. what ya think?

Those heads will work out well, but if you're building an engine like that I'd go for a bigger valve setup. The L92 head would be a better choice if you get the compression up to around 12:1. With that cam though the 5.3L heads may be a better choice.

for big nitrous or boost go with a thick head deck ( not stock ) but for n/a there is alot of good options with l92 being one of the best for the price.

U shud give Richard @ WCCH a call and pick his brain. He'll have a few options for ya...I have All-Pro heads (see pix in sig), and wasn't too sure out of the gate but since discovered they're actually quite good with a good tall deck if u want higher compression NA.

I am building something similar how would that cam behave in a 1500 HD with an 80E? I DD it and tow with it on occasion. I was tossing around what kind of cam for my motor and this one might be a touch big but I wanted to be sure. I too am trying to deside on heads.
