What about buying a 454lsx? I am sure it isn't cheap but the damn thing should have zero problems and a warranty?
Or how about a dozen LQ4s for the same amount of money..

On another note...as a thought experiment, what would happen if I put in a stock 3.622 crank with my rods and pistons? "Stroker" pistons have a shorter pin height, but if you combine the shorter height with shorter stroke would you just have a really low compression 6.0? I worked the numbers and it would be around 8:1 SCR...

Wonder if it could take 35psi
Sorry for your troubles but, DAMN, that's what I call taking lemons and making lemonade!

Compound Turbo setup in your future, maybe sequential with a nice small A/R on the little one to get through the low static compression blues quickly???? Pssshhhhh, 35 PSI, lets see 40! I forget, what alloy are your pistons?

Are you going back with a 4" stroke crank?

Talked to jarret about the stock crank and stroker piston idea and it would work, but totally suck out of boost and not be that great in boost. Just doesnt work that well with the piston that far down in the cylinder.

I do have a stock 6.0 shortblock sitting outside torn down that I am thinking about making a 370 out of.

Yea going back with a 4" stroke crank.
