I am subscribing in the hope of getting numbers. Your kit looks great, and this is what I want for mine when I get back from Germany.

Wanting power numbers or times for reference with your truck?

Both if possible. I already have the approval from the wife on it, plus it would make a great addition.

For reference:

60' = 1.911
1/8 = 8.262 @ 85.81
1/4 = 12.896 @ 105.19

Basically the same truck as yours, but without the stall and running 8 PSI which you likely will not get with the stock whipple pulley and the longtubes that you have. I was only seeing 6 PSI with the stock kit and 1-7/8" headers.

Got under it today, and found what looks like a stock stall. At any rate, 12.8 is great! You could easily slam on some street cars with that!

Well...I was planning on updating this thread this morning with some 1/4 mile numbers but mother nature had other plans yesterday evening. My Dad and I drove 2 hours to the track only to turn around and come home because it was pouring down rain. Oh well, I am going to attempt again next Friday.

It's Friday all day... I look forward to it. I hate precipitation, it's useless other than watering plants. Here in DFW it hardly ever rains, and if it does, you saw it coming. I feel for you.

My prospect list just keeps growing lol. Thanks for all the info on the whipple. I will be putting funds together to do this ASAP. Me being 2WD will make traction a thing of the past I'm sure

Is there any reason that most are going with the 2.3l blowers instead of 2.9l? I know the 2.9l will make more hp but does it really raise the powerband enough to where the 2.3 is that much better for a 6.2l truck?
