As far as the TPS goes my WOT shows 83% in HP Tuners, this is normal and there is a thread about it somewhere but basicly you have 100% throttle even though HP Tuners is logging 83-84%

Found the thread

Yeah, I found it in HP Tuners forum. I need to look at ETC % instead.

Mine shifts at 6000 also, unless I shift manually, in which case I hit the limited at 6400. Did once, won't be doing again lol.

I bet with some headers ORY this truck would pick up crazy HP! And some bigger gears would really help overcome the big wheels.

Yet another update: I finally got around to installing my boost gauge yesterday. Also, I am getting an O2 sensor bung welded in tomorrow so I can finish installing my wideband. I am waiting on HP Tuners to send my new pro interface box so that I can track my air/fuel ratio in the program.

I also finally found out what my peak boost is. Pretty much as suspected, it's 6.5 psi. I talked to Jeff and Mike at Whipple and it was agreed that I should step down to a 3.375" pulley. That should add about 2 psi and take me to 8.5 psi. I also asked about any tuning changes needed, and Mike said that no changes would be needed. I'm certainly going to keep a close eye on my injectors after installing the new pulley. Theoretically, this change should take me to where the system is supposed to be in the first place (8-10 psi).
With just a pulley change, and some small tweaks that I have already made (removed speed limiter, changed shift points for 1-2,2-3,3-4) I should expect a nice improvement at the track. We shall see.

Update 9/20/11: just a quick update (to myself I guess ), I installed my new pulleyt today. I have not had much chance to do a full test but it's a very nice and noticeable improvement. I'm hitting right around 9 psi at WOT so I picked up a little more than 2 psi. The real difference is up top as would be expected. Air/fuel is still around 12 at WOT. I don't have my interface back to log any runs. I was hoping to get to the track this Friday but since I won't have much time to dial in my transmission changes, it might have to wait until next Friday. My but dyno says low 13's at 101-103. If I can dial in the shift points and get some good launches, I'm thinking high 12's are definitely possible.

Good news! I'm looking forward to hearing about your track times when you make it out.

It's at Beaverun on Friday right? I might try to make it. If I don't have a chance to work on my tranny tuning, I will probably come.
