nah, its welded. local muffler shop custom bent my y-pipe. i didnt want the y to cross under the oil pan, wanted to avoid the extra heat

 

I'm running the stock 265/70 17's. I typically cruise at 70 but push it a little more if I put the V1 up on the window. Motor's the 5.3 btw.

 

On my trip to Missouri I averaged 16 MPG. I was driving 85 mph most of the time. When I wasn't driving 85, I was driving on mountain roads very aggressively. I also passed countless cars at WOT. I have 3.42s.
My radar detector saps my fuel economy also. I think it might be the load on my alternator.lol

 

Do you have the K&N full intake? I have the 77 series and I noticed a similiar sound under light throttle right after I installed it. I believe thats the sound of the air going through the throttle body.
