i wish i could post pictures but im forbidden from it . i have physically seen what gm is doing with direct injection on the lsx motor . i saw only heads but they were pretty wild , they had what looked like two intake runners one on top of each other . one was the actual runner which was huge , biggest i have seen yet . the other was for the injector. there is a small pilot hole near the spark plug threads which was tiny and could have been used for a probe or o2 sensor . as soon as i get the ok to post i will .

With that Livernois tune, catback only exhaust and a useless Air raid CAI, one guy is posting 13.69 with a 4X4 extended cab with 3.55's. It's a new thread on a big Ford forum. That tune is relatively new and probably the first semi "real" tune for the Ecoboost. By this summer I imagine there will be a whole pool of Ecoboost trucks to pick from for comparison.

When I was at the track last fall I ran a best of 15.44@89.5 when a bone stock Ecoboost CCSB 4x4 ran best of 14.92@91.5. I had removed the tailgate and rear seats, his had no weight reduction at all.

I might buy one in 3 or 4 years when I can get a 11/12 for like $15K and see. Should be plenty of aftermarket by then and enough time on the market to see what kinds of problems they really have.
