That's what someone told me. It shouldn't sit too close to the lens but if that's how it fits, its not really a problem. Though I'm going to try and have them further back.
Yeah hopefully today I can have one at least set in. But the hole saw deal I used was a lot cleaner and easier .

Good luck, hopefully everything works out.
The one tool everyone told me to get was a Dremel.

I didn't notice this, until now.
Another good thread to see what's going on back there.

Very cool.
Do you have a lot of room behind whole headlight assembly?
I have a very limited amount of space, two metal frames right behind each light, grrrr.

No I don't have very much space behind headlight assembly I have Made it that far but I can safely say with a little more trimming on shroud that the projector will sit with the lens being about a 1-1/4 away from the lens the only thing is like I said I cut the hole in the lens really big and now I need a big washer to support the nut behind it I am also not sure if it will function the same...here's the hold before and I made it significantly bigger

You cut a hole in the lens? Why in the lens?
I thought the only cutting necessary was in the bowl/reflector?

I'm sorry no not the lens stupid me must of got excited I meant the bowl lol be I didn't want to cut the bowl out of the reflector housing. If I had have to do all that I'm going to put highs and lows. But when I do my driver side light I'll post pics of everything. Is there anything you want pics of?
