Don't get frustrated, take a break before things go sour.

I've been trying to get HIDplanet to show you the other threads, but for some reason it is not connecting.

Don't they have factory projectors available for purchase on these vehicles? It seems like a lot of time and effort to refit aftermarket pods into reflector housings.

Can the rebased hid kits for GM stock projector housing really be that horrible? Mine seem to work fine. Just interesting in your opinion here.

I have been having a horrible time over at HIDPlanet. Nothing seems to want to cooperate over there. Not sure if its because I'm new or what. But, I'm still trying.

Not sure about the factory projectors, aftermarket sure.

It is a lot of time and effort but, the end result is well worth it. The output and pattern is a lot better than you could imagine. Also for the DIYer, it'll take a little more time compared to someone who does it for living but, the money you save doing it along with the feeling of accomplishment that you did it yourself is well worth it. Also the finished product looks great, even if it is fitted into a factory reflector.
