what cubic inch motor is the 5.3?

Default what cubic inch motor is the 5.3?

dumb question i know. but just curious. thanks!

323 or about 60.9 per liter

ahhh 323 or 325 just depends who you ask I guess. LOL I believe the 4.8 is 294 on one manufacturers website and a 295 on another. Then the 6.0 is 363 on one and 364 on another. You divide those out and the calculation makes no sense. anywhere from 60.1 to 61.25 cubic inches a liter.

Chevy calls it a 327. The bore is 96.0 mm and the stroke is 92.0 mm. The volume of 8 cylinders is 5,327,336.89 cubic millimeters, or 5,327.34 cubic centimeters. The volume in cubic inches is 325.09.

Just FYI, there are 25.4^3 (to the third power) cubic millimeters in a cubic inch.

The 6.0 has a stated bore of 4.00 inches and a stroke of 3.62 inches. If the 3.62 stroke is exact, the 6.0 liter has 363.92 cubic inches of displacement.

If the 3.62 is actually rounded down from 3.625 (3-5/8"), then it has 364.42 cubic inches of displacement.

Yes, a 5.3 is a 325. That is straight from GM's SI site for dealers.
GM has never called the 5.3 a 327

Wow, that explains it all Ranwalk. I like how it has in. and mm. I've always heard 325 cu. in. and never 323.
