Default 7.3 engine wiring harness identity

My Canadian-purchased and registered 2000 7.3 has a wiring harness that’s pretty dirty and starting to fray, so I’m looking into replacing it with a ford 7.3 main engine harness assembly.
What’s confusing me is that Canadian vehicles usually follow U.S. Federal emissions regulations, but the under-hood sticker on mine says it meets California non-catalyst emissions standards. The truck has no EGR and no catalytic converter. To make things even stranger, the VIN doesn’t return any useful information in the Ford parts system.
While searching Amazon and eBay, I found part number F81Z-12B637-EA listed as fitting 1999–2001 Federal Emissions engines, though it doesn’t specifically mention the Excursion.
Has anyone dealt with this before or know if this is the correct ford 7.3 main engine harness assembly for my setup? I feel like I’m missing something because the information I’m finding seems incomplete.

Sorry, no experience with Fords or the 7.3/Excursion, but have you considered just re-looming the harness? You can remove the harness segment-by-segment, clean/inspect, and repair any wiring as needed. If they hold up similar to the GM wiring harnesses, it's usually the wires near the connectors that start failing and you'll wind up with exposed wires potentially shorting out after the insulation falls off. Buy loom (they also sell home nicer loom at Summit Racing) in several sizes and 3M electrical tape. In areas of high heat like near exhausts, apply some aluminum high heat tape.
