99+ 4l60es are all the same. even earlier than that really.

make sure you search this site well.. but try to use as few key words as possible and make sure you search the right sections. search specifically engine section if your looking at cam info, or drivetrain section if you want gear info.

get yank, PI, or Circle D 3200 converter if you tow. there are at least 3 active converter threads right now. triple disc is stronger.

Narrow your cams down based on research and once your down to 2 or 3 start a thread in the GM Engine section asking for opinions and explain your goals.

thanks man keep checking back on this i put pics of his truck underneath on here under my name but everyone said you cant tell anything. you have to blow them up a little bit

what gear ratio, converter would make the 4L60E gears shift close? and have tons of torque and hp downlow??? I just purchased a 5.3 off EBAY and it is getting shipped to me so im gonna have this guy i know that builds 10,000$ engines build this. So reccomendations please let them pour in. I WANT THIS TO BE A SLEEPER but still be able to haul 1500LBS and take it to the track and whoop *** and still be street driveable if at all possible... thanks
