Default Herrrrroooo!

Hi yall!

I am usually a car type kind of guy but I am hoping this gives me motivation to start working on my daily. She is a 04 Silverado 1500 Ext cab 4x4 with 240k.

I just picked up a set of 20" SS replicas and plan to do a 1/3 drop in the near future. Original 5.3 and 4l60e are holding on but getting tired. So I have been gathering parts for it. I have a fresh 346c.i. lm7 with 243s and need a ls6 cam to throw in it. I also have a fresh 4l60e and a billet 2400 stall converter waiting for it as well.

As far as body goes it has the typical rocker, cab corner, and door bottom rust. That will need to fixed and need some paint. Then that's it..

Thanks! looking forward to getting this done.

I'm in Mankato Minnesota. It's hard to keep anything nice and rust free up here..

Minnesota blows, stupid salt.

I'm like 100 miles north of you.

Yep, I bought this truck in Zimmerman 3 years ago "rust free" but I know what that means here. I'm not upset about the rust as I paid 6k for it with 170k and I've done nothing to it besides a tune, exhaust, and stereo. Oh, I suppose I did the instrument cluster fix and blower motor actuator and a power steering line. Other than that, trouble free.

I'll have fun replacing the metal in my garage next summer. I think I'll try my luck with painting it too.
