That truck is long gone, it was totalled last year. It still ran and moved under its own power despite being all smashed and bent up.

Vats doesnt kill spark, and with a vats issue it should technically start and run for two seconds and then shut off

I patched it together and got it fixed. It starts, runs a few seconds, shuts off. Then I get a flashing security light. I believe now it is a VATS issue and needs to be reset. I will go through the process tomorrow and hope that this is the end of all the BS.

So I go over there today to do the VATs relearn... turn the key, no security light. F it, I start it - fires right up and settled in on a decent idle. I am not going to complain. Once running, had a massive transmission fluid leak. My fault, forgot to tighten a fitting on the line. Quick fix, not a major issue.

I am going to try to get all of the fluids topped off tomorrow. Then I need to finish the rear sway bar install. And put my trailer hitch back on. Hoping to put 100 miles on it Saturday and feel it out.

May have primed the fuel pump last time, and in trying to do other stuff done the vats relearn may have been done on accident...
