Do you have any rub with that setup? I also did 1/4 spacers because new stud spacers were to big for what I was trying to accomplish which was no more rub and slightly more flush. Also is it dropped on springs and de-cranked bars? I just ordered spindles for mine.
Only rub I get is passenger side rear on the inside during hard cornering or up a steep driveway. I looked at it and it was just the plastic inner fender liner so I think 1/4” spacer will get the job done. And this is belltech drop springs, drivers side cut 2 coils, 1-3 lowering torsion key on the passenger side, stock torsion key driver side and torsion bolts are about in the middle. When I first got the truck it had been wrecked on the drivers side front and that corner sat much lower then any other so when I lowered it I only put the passenger side drop key on and it evened it out.

Haha that thing must have been tweaked sitting low when you got it and the back high enough to cut the spring lol. I rubbed in the same spot took me forever to find it because it assumed it was in the front and I never imagined the rear rubbing.
Yeah she definitely wasn’t perfect but it’s been a really good truck for me and now it’s pretty much mechanically dialed in so I may move onto fixing some of the cosmetic stuff. The biggest thing that bugs me is the hood gap on the drivers side cause the hood has a small bend in it and the fender sits a little lower on that side in the front. I have a perfect radiator support from that tahoe, new hood hinges and the support brackets I may swap on but I don’t think it will be right till I can find a clean hood. I really can’t believe how awesome this motor runs though, just hit 245k and doesn’t show any signs of wear, still gets 20mpg freeway with 12” wide tires on it.

Looks good in pictures. What gears does it have? What magic have you worked with the tune to get 20mpg highway? I get 16-17 at best.
Its 3.73’s. The biggest thing was lowering it along with the front lip, I swear I picked up a solid 2mpg freeway from that alone. Also my driving habits from owning the stock insight helped allot. The tune on the Escalade is mostly stock besides a bit of timing tuning and power enrichment and trans shift times and small stuff like that. Since I first got it it runs 100% perfect in closed loop at 14.7-14.8 always.
That insight you could get as poor as like high 30’s for gas mileage if you drove it like **** or as good as 80mpg freeway from using hyper miling techniques and drafting. It gets pretty much a consistent 35-40mpg now regardless of how it’s driven but with gas as cheap as it is I couldn’t care less. I’m gonna finish up an individual throttle body setup for the motor in the insight and get that put on here soon. Should be interesting to tune.
I might have to do that suburban lip it does look nice and factory. My driving habbits aren't exactly the best for Hypermiling either. Just wasn't sure if you had some secret.
