Heat, humidity, elevation all are factors, you need to figure out DA to see what it would have run on a good day. I was at the track one time with my Silverado and it was running 15.2-15.5's, I thought WTF because I had run my best of 14.76 earlier in the year. Of course it was 107* on my first run and 93* on my last. The DA was 3200 feet, that translated into a 14.4xx on my 15.2 run according to the IHRA DA calculator. So the DA is a big factor.

I got that Ram by the horns.
I still have 40% of TM in my PCM program.
I'm also racing with the factory 20's.
All FI vehicles are held back by there factory PCM programs to an extent.
Though your still producing over 3/4 of the factory engine's power with a stock PCM program.
You will not gain but maybe 35-60 HP more at the fly with a custom pcm tune. Removing all TM will cripple the tranny in a short period of time.
The engine will be fine with all TM removed.
Also, your driveability will worsen. The shifts will be too violent all of the time.
Anyways, lets line'em up sometime!!

BeefTip-->Yeah, that's what the hell I was saying!! I'll make sure I do not abreviate next time just for you.
5.3 racer16--->15 mpg with a 5.3L???? You must not know how to drive. I get 17-19 in my truck. That's with the LQ9 6.0.
Your 5.3L should be getting 19+ mpg on average.
