Default Went to the track, disapointed with results!

Only got two runs in before the rain started and killed the evening, ran a 15.002 @ 91.519 mph and a 15.072 @ 91.003 mph, 60's were identical @ 2.217. My last time there my best was a 15.308 @ 90.566 with a 2.329 60', my worst last trip was a 15.417 @ 89.972 with a 2.346 60'. That is an improvement of .3-.4 seconds but I thought I would do better than that. I did have a full tank of gas and there was a pretty good cross wind which I think may hurt my top end some which is where I lost time. Temp was 64* and humidity was high, Rain! My best ever is a 14.92 @ 92.684 with a 2.266 60' which I thought I would beat this time, that's why I'm a little disapointed. This time I was better out of the hole but not as good on the top end?

Considering conditions, that doesn't sound that bad. I wouldn't worry. Go back with better conditions, 1/8 tank of gas, minor weight reductions and you'll beat your previous best. Hell, you're only a tenth off your old best. Drop the gas weight and your already 1/2 way there!

Did you have any traction problems with the new converter? Dont get too discouraged. I felt the same way the first time I went after putting my headers and exhaust on. I was running the same times as the last time I went. I asked around and all the regulars there were running about .3 slower than their usual times due to the weather.
