Default 4.8 worth of a cam?

Im debating into camming my 2010 gmc sierra L20 4.8 or not. I have lt headers, 3000 stall, 4.30 gears, k&n, bb tune. Runs pretty good can keep up with 6.0s and beat hemi's but still want more. Just wondering if its worth the money to put a cam into a 4.8 or just spend that to get a 6.0. What do you guys think?

I'm gonna have to disagree.. You will have roughly 1k in parts and speaking from personal experience (had a 224 cam in my 4.8) then swapping to a lq4 in my first Silverado, the stock lq4 would walk all over the cammed 4.8
My NA lq9 walks boosted 5.3s also. No replacement for displacement

Is it worth it? Yes. You will be at least $1000-1500 into it.
Cam kit $650 pushrods, cam, valve springs
Cam install kit $180 gaskets, fluids, etc
I would recommend LS2 timing chain, trunion upgrade, new lifters(if you have more than 100k miles), and a 220/224 cam. Also mill your heads while they are off.

Would the lq9 slide right in my 2010 sierra? or do i have to get a newer 6.0?

The lq4/9 will slip right in but you will have to modify some wiring. LY6 is a direct drop in but has vvt. Pick your poison i guess.
