Anyone have any experience with the hybrid's they made a couple years ago. Looks like they started making them in 09. Always thinking out side the box... 
Any one have one? Mod it??

I wouldn't waste my time with those production hybrids. Better get this guy to modify your truck...you won't regret it.

They are different. They drive different. They are a lot smoother for the most part than a standard ICE vehicle.
For what its design is, it works fairly well.
It would not benefit from a turbo. By design the ICE drives the front drive motor/generator assembly to produce electricity while the rear drive motor/generator assembly drives the prop shafts to move the vehicle. There are 4 possible mechanical forward gears but they are rarely used.

There is a time when the ICE does direct drive the rearend. I wouldn't want to put anymore power through them than they have now. They weren't designed for big power. Towing capacity is only 6,000lbs. The trans is a 2ML70. How well are the 4L70s holding up to big power?
