I just did my maintenace on my truck, I did the fuel filter, air filter, oil change, tranny flush, lube the front end, oil filter, plugs, wires, PCV valve, and flushed the cooling system. I also checked the brakes like you did and changed my belt. Thats what I did, any body else think of anything me and angelofdeath need to do?

PCV= Positive Crankcase Ventilation, if your truck is a new body style, it's located at the rear of the driver's side valve cover, with a thick vacuum hose going to it. It just pops out, and you pop a new one in...they cost about 2 or 3 bucks. As for lubing the front end, there will be about 11 grease fittings (zerk fittings) that require to be lubed periodically....upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, idler arm, pitman arm, etc. You'll need a grease gun with a flexible hose and the grease cartridges for it...you should be able to pick it up at a parts store, or probably even WalMart.

Don't forget your coolant flush if you haven't done that yet either...

Disregard if any of this has been done within the last 30,000 miles
Change oil and filter
Transmission flush
Coolant flush
Fuel filter
Air filter
Clean throttle body
Fuel injection cleaning
Change rear differntial fluid
Change pcv valve

has anyone had their power steering system flushed? before today I've never heard of this, should this be apart of a maintenance schedule?

You can use one of those hand pumps used to pump gear oil into a trans or rear end to suck the fluid out of the power steering pump resevoir. You then replace the fluid with some new stuff. You can also flush out the old brake fluid out of your calipers and brake lines. You'd be surprised how much trash build up in the fluid over the years and 75K or a 100K of driving. Guys with manual trans can also flush the old fluid out of their master and slave cylinder as well. 75K is a good time to do this.
