100,000 mile mark - daily driven Turbo 5.3
Hit the threshold driving home last night. Truck has been boosted for the last ~60,000 miles and daily driven up here in Buffalo, NY. Couldn't have done it with out an amazing turbo kit by Trick Turbo and tuning my New Era Performance. Bone stock 5.3 engine. Black ops 60lb injectors, Trick Stage 2 kit, built 60E and Yank TT3000 converter. Buffalo winters, road trips up to 8 hours straight, pulling car trailers and rvs, countless 4x4 but outs and dozens of 1/8 and 1/4 passes.
I have not once removed the turbo or kit for any reason since I installed it. There has not been one issue ( besides breaking front cv shafts from but outs ) w the truck. For the last two years I haven't done a thing to it besides install a 2 step to show off with, change the oil and Trans fluid and filled it w 93. I still get ~21 mpg on the interstate @70mph and 15 give or take city mpg. Thanks everyone who has helped or that I might have helped, I love this truck because it's ******* kick ***.

Choda, I looked for your build thread but could not locate it. Do you remember the title by any chance? Very much where I intend to go with my truck. Most interested in the longevity of a high performance turbo engine. If you can squeeze 1000hp out of a stock bottem end 4.8, it stands to reason that you can build a 500hp ls engine that will live for 200,000 miles or so.

Built trans from local shop. The reg smart shell, hardened shafts, shift kit, servo.. Yank tt3000 converter. The tune is just as important than the hard parts. I was over 400 wheel for over a year with a stock 4L60E.
Everything else in the drive line is stock.
