looks like it is a car pump with a truck pulley from ac delco. i bought one just in case I run a fast on my new motor build.

All you need is a late model truck pump with the water neck that points out instead of up..

That's nothing more than an f-body/Vette pump. The truck pulley remember has the place for a manual fan.

Just get a used, low mileage LS1 f-body/Vette pump off ls1tech, ebay, or craigslist. I'm using the stock pump off my Camaro which had 50K miles before being put on the truck and since has had 125K more put on it. Still going strong.

F-body pumps will not work without modifications. You either have to pull the pulley out some, or replace it with the truck pulley. I had both the EWP and stock f-body on my truck. I would try that pump, pulling the pullies off is something you don't want to mess with, major PITA. Ask Corey.

I have never personally seen an 05+ pump (or paid attention to it if I have) so I couldn't say.

If you use the "older" 97/98 style with the bold on pulley, its a simple matter of just getting longer bolts and spacing the pulley. I used my 01 pump but had the ability to machine up some spaces to space the entire pump out to the correct location.

thats why I was going to stay away from a car intake, but with this pump I can swap any intake with a little a/c braket cutting and idler pulley relocation.
and it is a new unit with gaskets, and not having to pull the pulley off is worth the $100.
