someone was looking out for me there is absolutely no damage. paint held up, hoses are charred and so is the cover to my wiring harness but the wires are still completely intact. this fire burned for over a minute. all i have to do is clean up the soot and retape the fuel injector splices and find the fuel leak. ill push the truck out this weekend and start this process again. stand by for videos of this **** running in a few days. I WILL NOT BE DETERRED. i have way to much money and emotion in this build to give up now. but ill post pics of my dumb *** mistake. this should serve as a warning to all others who build/install engines. never brush off a fuel leak no matter how small you think it is.

Good that there's no more leaks but sucks about the connectors.

just so you know i hate murphy. so today i finished rewiring my fuel injectors and checked for leaks. with my lovely wife standing by with several fire extinguishers i crank and crank but nothing. gave her a shot of ether and nothing. so i have a spark issue. im thinking that fire may have wrecked the wiring harness after all. anyone know where i can get my hands on another or possibly point me in the right direction of figuring out whats up with mine?

i found that i had a blown fuse on the injectors. so i fixed the fuse but my slow crank was due to a bad starter. apparently they do not like to be on fire. so im without a starter and i need a map sensor still. tonight decided it would be a good idea to push the truck back into the garage so no one could break into it. my wife slammed the side of the bed into the garage door so now my garage wont close and my bed is wrecked. this is proof that either there is no god or he hates me. im going with my first guess. anyway i think its time to let the truck go. im going to sleep on it for a week and if i still feel the same way im going to post her up for sale on here. thanks to everyone who posted feedback and gave me the motivation to do this build. its been fun.
