Congrats man. I loved my 383. I beat on it like it owed me something and it just asked for more. Put about 10k miles on it before I sold it and that guy is now treating it the same way lol.

Never had it on a dyno. It trapped 112mph on motor at 4400#. 475ish? That was with some timing pulled out for nitrous as well. It was 12.2:1, 24x/25x .620/.615 111LSA cam, etc etc...It was built specifically for large shots of nitrous. It liked nitrous lol


edit: those numbers were with an edelbrock vic jr and 950cfm carb. With stock intake and 78mm tb, the best it ever trapped was 103 I believe. It was really choked down. Hopefully with your induction setup, you won't have that problem.

i have a Wheatley safe tune until i can afford some dyno time and i put a few miles on it. ran into some issues tonight with the fuel plumbing but tomorrow morning after a trip to Pep Boys i should have a -6 cap installed and ill be ready to hear her purr. i primed the oil system and im getting 50 psi when i fired it up on ether this afternoon. cant wait to get the vids up.

well i have to wait until summit gets me a new fitting. i didnt like how tight my fuel hoses were kinked so i bought some 90 degree fittings. i will get vids up later this week.
