You've come a long way to just call it quits like that... I know there have been a lot of problems but the end of the build is in sight

 

you cant give up bro. i had the same thing going in my head minus the bed problem. but it was worth it time and time again no selling! when its done and running u will have a grin on your face that wont ever go way when u get in your truck.

let me get my hands on a starter first. even with the battery charger on boost i cant get it to turn over hardly. the more i crank it the slower it turns. but its 155 bucks i dont have and i still need a map sensor plus dyno time.

dont buy the ebay one i made the mistake of doing that and it was grinding on my flexplate not messing with the teeth

 

i think im going to have to wait until my wife starts getting her BAH from her 9/11 GI bill.

Same thing here man, I bought one of those cheap *** ones years ago and it did the same grinding thing. I tossed it in the dumster and went and got an oem pullout from a trailblazer.

 

Nice build man. Don't give up even though things are getting rough. I also built a 383 stroker but I threw maggie on top of it. I have been without it for 4 months straight now with all sorts of issues. I will be picking it up today from Zippy after he gets done putting the finishing touches on the dyno tune.
