Today i bought the map sensor and starter. Going to find out soon if it will start and run. Then its a few week wait until i can afford dyno tuning. I have been without my baby since februrary. Im getting frustrated and impatient.

Hey, glad to see you haven't given up. Do you have a baseline tune for it to at least get it to start? Do you have a tuning program?

O'Riley blessed me with a bad starter. Or im having electrical fire grimlins. Any thoughts as to where i should start? Relay is good and ignition fuses are good. I have 12.7 volts at the battery. I need to check at the starter still.

To test the starter, Go straight from the battery with power and ground and jump the starter motor to see if it works. I recommend having both out of the car and testing it. Also make sure you hold the starter firmly with something. The torque the produce is very strong.

Then see if your getting power at the wire that attaches to the starter. If not trace back from there accordingly.

yeah its not doing anything. but im starting to think that i may have a bad neutral safety switch. i replaced that the day i did the starter and with the old starter it at least tried. but i changed the starter and the neutral safety and now i have nothing. not even a click.

So you tried jumping the starter directly from the battery?

The neutral safety Switch could cause that if its not properly aligned. But you should check the starter first and make sure it functions properly.
