Default Headers on a 6.0 2500HD

Can you get LT's and a Y/X pipe that will hook up to the stock exhaust?

The Pacesetter LT's and y-pipe can bolt up to it. It comes with hose clamps, but they're pretty crummy. Get some flanges welded up to the headers and y-pipe, or get the whole deal welded together

Is that just the same as washing a truck that sits in a garage and doesn't move?

You are correct, the 6.0L in the HD's have a "true dual" exhaust setup. I installed pacesetter LT on my 1500HD, not exactly a 2500HD but close enough. See link for details and pics of what I did.
