Exclamation Help finding a 2500HD tune for OSID 12617631 for HPTuners ASAP

Hey all,

In my 2008 Silverado, I'm swapping an 6.0L LY6 in for my 4.8L LY2 (and swapping over the turbo setup, but that's a different story...).

I want to use my HPTuners to just flash my current ECM (OSID 12617631) with an LY6 tune, but having searched the HPTuners repository and threads, I still can't find a tune with the right OSID. They all seems to have OSID 12622142.

If anyone has a 2008 2500HD 6.0L gas tune for OSID 12617631 for HPTuners they could send me I would be very grateful!

My other option is to buy the ECM from a 2008 2500HD 6.0L engine, but there aren't any around me, I'd rather spend the cash elsewhere, and I don't want to have to wait for one to ship here!

If anyone has a better option I'd be very happy to hear it!

Thanks!

local used car lot. . . and go for a test drive

stealership . . . . find a VIN for the year model that you want, give them the VIN and they will flash the tune on there

Or find someone with a new MDI (tech2) and reflash it

The tricky part is having it match my OS ID ... I can't just have just flash any tune to my ECM, it needs to match my OS ID, doesn't it?

Thank!
