GRAEAT NEWS: I know how to break a drive shaft....
#1
Was on my home from the track and started to feel a vibration at 100mph. When i slowed down the DRIVE SHAFT broke in two, about a foot from the transmission. I know i have oil all over but couldn't see where exactly it was comming from. Anyone else is having the luck i am having....

the oil is coming from the tail-shaft output of the tranny where the driveshaft slips in....I have broken one before rock-crawling in my old Z71, but that was because I set the truck down right on a rock that cut the 'shaft in two

What you have listed in your mods shouldn't be NEAR enough to break a drive shaft. I would take it to the shop and see about getting it replaced under warranty.
I grenaded a $2000 transmission on my Z71 and the driveshaft was still fine. When I say grenaded .. I mean it. There were shards of hardened input shaft and flakes of various other hardened transmission parts in the pan when it came loose.

After i surveyed the damage, I have a broke drive shaft and cracked the tranny housing before the tail shaft end. The reason it broke: the bushing or seal wore out causeing the drive shaft to shake and then break. If you ever see one of out drive shafts broke apart, trust me you will start checking them regulary cause out drive shafts are paper thin....

I am sure i can get some of it off the truck. I won't be around, at least i don't think so, when they take it off the truck and replace everything....
