quick question the "lip" on the front side is that saposto be smothed down? left alone or grinded to match? i dont have anyone around here to ask so i wanna make it clear before i go tearing into anything else haha thanks guys

it should be pretty obvious for you, nothing too crazy your just creating a smother transition, your not boring anything out lol just make it look the way GM should have done it from the factory nice and smooth so the air doesnt have as much obstruction

I would say the gain would be more on a FI motor. How much? I don't know. Forced induction "over comes" poor air flow TO AN EXTENT. The more "fluid" airflow is into any motor or either type of induction will produce more power.

The "lip" on the front side and the back side of the blade needs to be smoothed out. Grind with bit then use sanding roll to finish out. Do not touch the area where the blade seals with the bore of the TB. You're screwed if you mess with that.
