It does have that white exhaust smoke that could very well be coolant.

He verified earlier that fluids weren’t mixing and levels were normal.

Agree that it doesn't seem to be a fuel delivery issue.

So the two issues are extended crank on start-up and running lean. I'm trying to think if those may be related, but I don't think that is highly likely? Just a guess.

Do you have a scope? Maybe you can look at the injector waveform on extended crank and compare it to when it cranks-and-fires normally?

Swapping a known-good ECU would also be a really good idea, but not sure if you could get an extra one laying around.

it does not smell at all like burnt coolant. I’d be very very surprised. I plan on doing a leakdown test and pulling the valve covers soon

I will check fluids again as well.

I do not have a scope.

I can buy another PCM and write my tune to it if need be. I’m sure I can find one for cheap somewhere.

Oil and coolant look good to me. I am blowing so much smoke out of the tail pipe that you would think these would be major low

@RedXray I am seeing the same things as you are. I have no idea what is going on. It's like my gas isn't gas or something. All of this started the day after I filled up at the gas station. I know I put 93 and I know it isn't diesel lol
Siphon all of it out and put in some new 93? I don't know. Like I said, I am at a loss. I did buy a leak down tester though just in case. I am trying to wait to get the truck inside before I start doing all of that though.

It’s possible to get some bad gas but I’ve never seen bad gas act like this though.

I would re-wire the wideband with the minimal connections and see what it reads from the gauge itself. It may be the wiring that feeds the laptop that is causing the unusual readings. If it still reads super lean you either have a massive vacuum leak or fuel delivery issues. Bad fuel... anythings possible

EDIT TO ADD: when the AEM wideband gauge sees anything above 20 AFR it reads -- -- -- -- --

I have a $30 borescope that uses wifi to connect to your phone it works great for looking down holes

The gauge and the laptop are reading the same. I keep thinking maybe the gauge is somehow inaccurate or the sensor is broken but when the truck revs itself up it gets back to 10 AFR and then leans out when dying and it makes me think maybe it is right.

I smoked for a leak and nada.

Edit: One thing I have not done with my scanner is checked on cylinder contribution. The truck doesn't feel like it is missing and HPTuners didn't seem to show me either but I wonder if the scanner may show me something I couldn't see. I don't know

Have a new tune file someone came up with for me that apparently straightens out some things. I am hopeful but not optimistic as it would not make sense that my tune worked for 2 years and then out of the blue decided not to. Should find out here in a few hours after I get off work.

In his words "changed cylinder mass and VE for a 6.0 (lean issue). Timing tables were pretty **** fixed that. **** ton of idle spark with zero under or over adjust (hence bad jumping idle), fixed that. Drop flow to 22#s (hence it dumping fuel with 44# and stock VE tables going lean."
