I hear ya. Just would hate to see you miss out on getting yours.

Ya know, sooner or later the little Chinese kids that make these will be too old to make them...

That might take some searching around, unless someone else can chime in here.

My 2002 doesn't have EGR, so all I had to do was plug the tube and was done.

Good Luck with the install!

Take a rubber expandable type freeze plug and put it in the intake to plug the hole. A quick search on here should tell you what size you need.

my motor's from an 01, so it has EGR. is it best to just disconnect it, plug up the holes, & tune it out?

From what AJII said above, sounds like same setup as an F body. I did the exact thing he said to do, on my 2000 Camaro and simply tuned the EGR out.

You can get a factory cover for the EGR port in the intake from the dealer, it's less than $20 (I payed $11 for mine about 5-6 years ago, with my dealer discount), then just have the EGR tuned out. Actually, I think that I remember seeing the factory plug available from Thunder Racing also...I think...

you wouldn't happen to remember the part number will you? anyone know if you can tune it out with the diablo predator tuner because thats all i got right now till i can save up and find a good deal on hp tuner or efi live? i might just get a new gasket for the egr and hook it up for now. hope i can get it done tomorrow.

to plug the egr opening, go to any hardware store & get a 1/8" pipe plug. use a little thread sealer & you're good to go.
