so from what i read, people with 4x4 are hit or miss on fitment? $290 bucks shipped is a steal, but i really don't feel like having to bang the **** out of them to get them to fit on my Z

It seems that they "may" be a hit or miss thing on 2003 and newer 4wd's for some reason?

Do you know if these guys have any for the 6.0, or will I have to buy the legit OBX brand header? I havent seen anything yet. I know the only difference is the Y pipe (or lack there of), but I was hoping to find something that will work with the cat back I have on there now.
It's not a big deal because they will still only be $500 or so shipped, but if I could get them for $290 shipped why not right?

What are you torque are you using on the header to head bolts? I only ask because my chilton is leaving me a bit concerned. 135ft lbs? I may be reading it wrong but that seems like a **** load.

Awesome, thanks. I got mine today. Looks like I'm missing one bolt. Pulled everything out and mocked it up. Glad I did. Guess I'll be heading out in the morning to get a bolt. Plan to put them on tomorrow. I'll be honest for 290 bucks I expected a lot less. They look great. Welds look good, and you can tell they cleaned them up a bit.

I used the same headers, deleted the Y-pipe, ran it through an x-pipe, and have dual dynomax bullets with turndowns on it now. It sounds awesome, i mean it's got the meanest tone ever.

When I got the headers the box was in terrible shape too lol you could actually see some of the piping. They where in good shape though. I zip-tied my 2 plug wires up to that mounting bolt for the engine cover, never had a lick of trouble out of it.

The only problem I have with my exhaust is the drone at 60 - 80 mph. I don't know how to get rid of it. And I'd hate to lose the tone my truck has now :\ any ideas?

Does anyone know if the baffle inside the fake cat can come out? I've narrowed this ANNOYING rattle down to right at the collector/fake cat and it's driving me crazy! No piping anywhere is touching and no heat shields are loose... It just intermittently rattles from that area really loud. I'm beginning to think I got some reject headers.
